APK Charities is a Proud Recipient of the 2021 Myra Kraft Community MVP Award

APK Charities is a proud recipient of the 2021 Myra Kraft Community MVP Award! It’s awarded to “those who exemplify leadership, dedication and a commitment to improving their communities through volunteerism.” The New England Patriots Foundation donates $225,000 each year to selected non-profit organizations located in New England. There are twenty $10,000 winners and one grand prize winner of $25,000. APK Charities has been selected as a one of the $10,000 winners. Bob Keiser accepted the award from Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. The $10,000 grant will be used to support veterans in need and their families.

APK Charities Board Member, Kevin Dowd, received a letter from the New England Patriots Foundation stating, “On behalf of the Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation, thank you for submitting such a strong application for our Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards program. We were truly moved by Bob’s story and commitment to volunteerism. We are very excited to recognize Bob for [his] volunteer efforts!”

Kevin replied, “Speaking as a board member of APK Charities Corporation, we are truly humbled to be one of the non-profit organizations selected for the 2021 Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards program.  We know that there are many truly deserving and exceptional applicants each year.”
