Carry the Load: Memorial May 2025
First, let’s talk about Carry the Load…it’s a non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve the sanctity of Memorial Day. They do this through community gatherings and storytelling in an effort to unite Americans in appreciation for the sacrifices made by a few who carried the load for all. What started in 2011 as a grassroots effort by Veteran U.S. Navy SEALs, Clint Bruce and Stephen Holley, has now grown into a nationwide movement with people honoring and remembering our nation’s heroes throughout the year.
Their mission is to provide active ways to honor and remember our nation’s heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
Their impact: Of the $45.9M raised since 2011, 93% goes towards our three programs: Awareness, Continuum of Care, and Education.
Now let’s talk about Memorial May. It’s a month long celebration of meaningful events and activities that pay tribute to the brave men and women who have defended our freedom. Memorial May offers countless ways for individuals and communities to participate and make a difference.
Helen and Bob will be at the Memorial May kick-off at West Point, on May 3, 2025. It’s the first of hundreds of community events nationwide honoring our fallen heroes. Please join Carry the Load all May as they honor our military, veterans, first responders, and their families together throughout this month of remembrance. Join the events here. And join Helen and Bob at Westpoint on May 3.
Give a little. Help a lot.
