Bob Meets with Ryan Savard’s Gold Star Family on his Coast x Coast Cross Country Ride

What an eventful day! On his third day on his cross country trip, Bob met Sergeant 1st Class Ryan J. Savard’s family. Ryan was a Special Ops soldier. He was killed in action on Oct. 13, 2012 during combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Savard died from direct fire from enemy forces while conducting combat operations in Konduz Province, Afghanistan.
