APK Charities’ fundraising partnership results with the 2023 Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity!

Dear Friends,

This year was APK CHARITIES our first fundraising partnership with Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program, which raised over $3200!  The Birdies for Charity program provides 501(c)(3) organizations in Connecticut the opportunity to raise funds by collecting donations.  We look forward to our continuous relationship with the Travelers Championship and your ongoing support!

APK Charities was created to help us properly honor and remember the life, bravery, and humanitarian spirit of our son, Captain Andrew M. Pedersen-Keel. On March 11, 2013, Connecticut native Capt. Andrew Pedersen Keel, was killed in action in Eastern Afghanistan serving as the commander of his special forces detachment. He was 28 years old.

We seek to raise awareness and support for our active, retired, wounded and fallen warriors and their families and to provide financial aid and material assistance to charitable organizations and causes.

Thanks to your generous support, the Birdies for Charity funds through the Bonus Bucks sponsored by Webster Bank was very successful.

Your donation to APK CHARITIES will help to serve as a bridge connecting our society and our Armed Forces, opening our hearts and minds to serve those who protect us.

Thank you,

Helen & Bob Keiser

APK Charities is a non-profit organization raising funds for the APK Direct Assistance Program and APK Endowment Fund in loving memory of Captain Andrew Pedersen-Keel, Special Forces.
